Megan is a transformational technology exec, TEDx speaker, and sought-after coach for women looking to achieve SUSTAINABLE weight loss. She is the creator of LIGHTEN YOUR LIFE, a program designed to stop the self-sabotage of weight loss efforts, share the skills for successful and (more importantly) sustainable (we're talking long-term, baby!) weight loss , and support her clients to live happier, healthier, and more joy-FILLED lives.
After years of working through her own struggles with food, yo-yo dieting, overeating, and binge eating, Megan decided to take all that she learned from her own healing journey and turn it into something transformational for other women. She obtained a coaching certification from the Institute for the Psychology of Eating and engaged in nutrition studies with the European Centre of Excellence. She also coaches for MindGym, an organization that offers psychology-based transformational coaching.
In addition to her certifications, Megan holds a BA in Psychology and an MBA in Organizational Behavior and Transformation. She has studied multiple healing modalities, including Tapping, meditation, cognitive behavioral reprogramming, and Positive Intelligence (PQ Program). Her training and education alongside her own personal journey and 8+ years researching the underlying reasons that 95% of women who lose weight gain it back, have set her on a mission to transform the stories women tell themselves about their weight and weight loss efforts. Her goal is to help women successfully move past weight loss struggles, yo-yo dieting, and self-sabotage while showing them how to sustainably lose weight and gain health. All to live their best lives.
Her larger mission is to reduce the number of women dying each year from weight-related illnesses such as heart disease by giving them the skills and resources needed to once and for all stop the madness of constant dieting.
